I thought it was about time I posted the weight and inch loss in here ! Now, everytime I feel myself slipping I can just pop in here and remind myself that I don’t want to undo all my hard work! I have also added some before and ‘after’ pictures too. Though the afters are by no means final! Click to enlarge…

Why I started this blog…
Initially I started my blog to monitor my weight loss and help me stay on track. I realised I was falling into some bad habits and gradually my weight was creeping up and my clothes were getting tighter. I decided that it was time I did something about it - I had to go on a diet. Unfortunately, as soon as I got to my goal weight or size I fell back into old habits.
Clearly, I was doing something wrong.I spent some time reading up on fitness and nutrition I decided it was time to ditch the diet and make some permanent changes. Sure, I have my blips, but I always make sure I get myself right back on track.
I'm not "on a diet" anymore, and I never will be. I'm eating good, wholesome, nutritious foods and getting plenty of exercise and, most importantly, I love it!My blog has now become a place for me to share my newfound love of healthy eating and regular exercise!

Wow Sam, I never realised just how small you have gotten! Are some of those pics from Scatland? In the one of you standing in pj’s, I’m sure that’s me cut out
Jo, I never realised how big I’d gotten in the first place! I know I wasn’t obese or anything but I was tipping the scales at the high side of the ‘overweight’ category and I just didn’t see it, it’s only now that i’ve lost it and looked back that I realise.
And yes that is one of the pics form our little cottage in Dumfries, and yes that is you who is cut out!
Thanks chick!
Hi Stella,
Just wanted to leave a little comment to congratulate you on the progress. Came here after seeing a few of your posts (and thus link to blog) via the MyProtein forums (where I post under the name ‘James’).
You look fantastic, you should be extremely happy with yourself and your progress, hardwork pays off in regards to body recomposition as you have found out! Your boyfriend is a very lucky guy ;D
I wish you all the best in your continued efforts, use the forums over at MyPro for any questions or topics of discussion you may have; and do keep us updated on your goals.

Hi Jamees, thank you for that! Hard work certainly does pay off and it is so worth it, sadly I’ve been slacking too long – so I will be making use of MP, especially over the next week or so to help get me out of this rut!
And yes, he is a very lucky guy!
